Mila Monday + A Giveaway!

Before we do this weekly thing, I just thought you should know...I'm doing a little giveaway over at Taush.O! My friend Tausha, lovely person that she is, commissioned a small hand-lettered piece for her daughter's room and I offered to do a custom hand-lettered 5x7 for one of her readers. Amelia: 211 weeks + Margot: 113 weeks

I've been sloooooowly pulling together our front entryway (and taking before and after pics to share) and recently bought a couple new planters. Today she helped me pick out and put in some plants.

I'm not sure they'll grow well together--if at all--but she sure had fun choosing them. And she was an excellent little gardening helper.

This one, on the other hand, did not want to get her hands dirty. Instead she did a lot of this.

Can't say I blame her. It's real hot out there.
