Amelia: 146 weeks
We're doing the potty training thing this week.
She was definitely ready this time last year, but I was super pregnant and didn't have the mental fortitude for it then. Now she's excited about it again (new underpants help) and I'm tired of changing diapers, so here we go. Wish us luck.
Margot: 48 weeks
She's such a curious little frog.
She wants to be part of whatever is going on. It's a little irritating to have her perpetually crawling underfoot and getting into things she shouldn't, but she's so sweet and pleasant about it I can't stay annoyed for very long.
We are starting potty training next week when it is Spring break and will be home all week and not out and about! Good luck Mila girl! So excited for you! :)
ReplyDeleteWe're doing really well so far. Hope things go smoothly for you next week!
DeleteGood luck with potty training! Owen is still so young (19 months) and I've heard boys usually don't get potty trained until later but it still seems like he's ready! (Obsessed with the toilet, always tells me when he's going to the bathroom and then lying down so I can change him, etc.) I'm wondering whether I should try before the new baby comes (in October, still a long way off) or just wait another year or so. And these are the thoughts that occupy my mind these days. Just so ya know.
ReplyDeleteHey, if he's ready and you're game, I say give it a shot. Worst case scenario: you clean up some messes and try again later. Best case scenario: no diapers until October. Woo!
DeleteIsn't it funny how parents become so preoccupied with other people's bodily functions? Such fun.
