Jibber Jabber, ep. 4

While messing with watercolors, I painted this:

Mila: "Wha's dat?"

Me: "What does it look like?"

Mila: "Um, a turtle."

Me: "No, it's a fish."

Mila: "Sort of..."

Me: ...

Me: "What's your favorite snack?"

Mila: "Pink!"

Me: "Really? Pink is your favorite snack?"

Mila: "No...lellow?"

Me: "Yellow. Yellow is your favorite snack."

Mila: "No...white!"

Me: ...

*

Mila: "I sick."

Me: "Oh no! I'm sorry! What kind of sick?"

Mila: "Pink."

Me: "You're pink sick?"

Mila: "No...orjen [orange]."

Me: "Well all right then."

Mila: "I so sick. A popsicle help me feel better."

Me: ...

*

"When my heart is full of cookies others will love me."

*

"Ring around a rosies! Pocket full a toesies!"

*

Mila: "Wha's dat?"

Me: "Margot barfed."

Mila: "I eat it?

Me: "Really really not."

Mila: "Why?"

Me: ...

I am thankful for my Mila girl. I'm especially thankful that she makes me laugh as much as she does, because if she weren't so dang funny I might have sold her on the black market long ago.

Also, I'm thankful that she has not actually attempted to eat her sister's vomit.

  1. Haha! She's hilarious! And she's spot on about how having a heart full of cookies is the way to win people's love. All my favorite people definitely have hearts (and pantries) full of cookies.

  2. Ha!!! I died at the heart-full-of-cookies comment. You clearly never have a dull moment with that one.

  3. "When I have a heart full of cookies others will love me" might be my new guiding philosophy for life.

    1. I support that decision. It's one of the best ways to win friends and influence people.
