This silhouette is not my favorite. It's hard for me to surrender my waist--it's one of my favorite things about my body--so I much prefer fitted clothes that show it off rather than hide it. Which is why when I bought this boxy tee (in two colors, no less) I almost immediately regretted it. "I just don't know if I like them that much," I whined to David. "I think I'll take them back tomorrow."
"Put one on," he instructed. So I did. "You look cute. Keep them," he told me. So I did.
I'm so glad, too, because I wear them all the time. And the loose, flowy, not-so-hourglassy look is growing on me. It's still not my favorite but at least I gave it shot. Plus I'm always a fan of the side braid, so that helped.

DeleteHa, we think alike. =) I'm so used to pairing baggy with formfitting that baggy and baggy just threw me! However, I think this sillouette is really cute on you! Your husband knows what he's talking about. =)
ReplyDeleteI hear ya. Baggy on baggy will probably always be a challenge for me. But at least it's breezy and cool when the weather's all kinds of sweaty.
